Other independent artists at the event included the ferocious New Orleans talent, Carsie Blanton, singer songwriter, Young Mister, and the Billboard Top 100 (Rap / R&B / Hip Hop) Memphis phenomenon Tyke T . In addition to a lot of awesome indie artists being at the conference, there were also panels and discussions on music sync for film, TV and advertising. Highlights included panels with Ken Brahmstedt (Black Label Music), Joel Feinberg (DeWolfe Music), Janet Wade (Turner), and Kasey Truman (Chop Shop Music Supervision). And perhaps the most interesting discussion of the conference included artist / singer songwriter Jace Everett discussing his song "Bad Things" with music supervisor Gary Calamar who placed the song as the theme music in the HBO series True Blood.
